Hi! Nice to meet you. I’m Bailee.
I’m a born-and-raised Californian with a love for oat milk lattes, theme parks, my two cats, and, of course, travel.
Not too long after earning a degree in English literature and professional writing & editing from the University of California, Santa Barbara, I dove headfirst into the world of freelancing — and it’s been a rollercoaster in the best way. I currently work as a travel writer and travel advisor, two career moves that were guided by my penchant for wanderlust.
Now, I’m a graduate student at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. Going back to school to study public relations and advertising has been one of the best choices I’ve made for my career. I aim to use my skills and knowledge gained at USC, combined with my professional experience, to become a content strategist in the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.
I love making magic with my clients, whether I’m elevating their content with my writing and editing expertise or planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip. But, when I’m not writing travel content or booking someone’s dream vacation, I’m probably strolling the streets of L.A. and trying new eateries and cafes with my other half. After all, the only cure for wanderlust is to just keep wandering — even if you’re just exploring your own backyard.
